What is NOMA?
NOMA, a collaboration of University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) students and faculty, Omaha North High Magnet School (ONHMS) and Girls Inc. of Omaha, teaches high school students about social media and citizen journalism through the mentorship of university students. NOMA student reporters reflect on issues related to civic engagement as well as larger political and social issues facing the nation.
